The Flavors Of Ojai Are Fresh And Organic.
The year-round Mediterranean climate of the Ojai Valley makes it ideal for growing organic produce, citrus, olives, nuts and lavender. Many of these locally grown ingredients and flavors are infused in the creative cuisine at our bistros and award-winning restaurants.
Looking for a culinary experience that goes way beyond your expectations? These Ojai restaurants offer the perfect Southern California charm!
From cooking classes, farm and ranch tours to wine tasting, you can easily immerse yourself in local flavors. The Sunday Certified Farmers Market is a great place to meet the farmers and shop for made-in-Ojai treats such as jams, honey, olive oil and raw chocolate. Open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine, year round.
On select Saturdays and Sundays each month the Eating Ojai Tasting Tour in the Village offers a guided tour of six local favorites for tastings and conversations with chefs and business owners. Fresh roasted coffee, baked goods, authentic Mexican food, beer, and locally made artisanal foods are amongst the offerings.
Ojai, California offers dozens of tasty options for fine dining and casual meals, with many of the restaurants offering lovely outdoor patios and impressive wine lists. Relax, and leave the cooking to the locals!
